Project Scope:

Developing a signature design concept for a rapidly growing business set to expand into a franchise, with ambitions to enter the Fortune 500 by 2025/2026. This base design introduces a feminine, fresh, and modern aesthetic tailored to Mochiholic’s target demographic. The concept balances functionality with style, creating an inviting yet practical space optimised for takeaway service while accommodating up to 25 seated customers. 

Key Features: 

• Counter Design: Extended marble counter with built-in shelving for takeaway efficiency, showcasing sleek, high-end finishes.

• Material Palette: A mix of polished marble, warm wood accents, and soft metallic touches to create a modern yet approachable ambiance.

• Ceiling Plan/Windows: Plans include raising the wood-feature drop ceiling., removing the top windows,, enhance vertical space and amplify the airy, open feel.

• Wall Finishes: Updated restroom walls for a clean, professional look while maintaining cohesiveness with the overall design.

• Display & Shelving: It was first suggested arched built in shelving , but due to budget constraints, it was replaced with easy, inexpensive Industrial-style shelving paired with soft wood tones for a balance of practicality and charm, showcasing baked goods and packaged items.

This design serves as the foundation for Mochiholic's new chain identity, embodying a modern and feminine vibe to attract its core demographic. The space prioritises a quick takeaway setup without compromising on the welcoming ambiance needed for dine-in customers.
